About Tormented Square
“Tormented Square” is an upgraded version of Devil Square event which a team of2 people competes with other teams in the Survival of the Fittest. There are 15 rounds in total,
and the rounds 5, 10, 15 are boss stages.
200 devastating monsters appear after each boss stage.
Monsters in “Tormented Square” have kill points and survival points for each round.
A team with more points is ranked higher in the competition. The teams with higher ranking
get chances to participate in the next competition.
In order to enter “Tormented Square,” a team has to consist of 2 people.
Team members can be changed in the 1st round. However, from the 2nd round,
team members are fixed permanently until the competition ends.
At least 2 and up to 10 teams can join “Tormented Square,” and the match does not start
with only one team joining the Survival of the Fittest.
However, if only one team has joined the final match of the Survival of the Fittest,
they win by default.
Schedules for Tormented Square: Survival of the Fittest
- Tormented Square: The Survival of the Fittest event is held for 7 days, round 1 for 4 days,
round 2 for 2 days, and final for a day. - Round 1 is held for 4 days, and 5 competitions are held each day. 1st and 2nd placed
teams of each competition advance to the round 2.
- 20 competitions are held for 4 days in total. 1st and 2nd placed teams from
each competition advance to round 2. (up to 40 teams) - Round 2 is held for 2 days, and 5 competitions are held each day. 1st placed team from
each competition advances to the final. (up to 10 teams) - Final is held for a day once. 1st placed team from the final wins the Survival of the Fittest.
※The team that has already advanced to the round 2 cannot participate in the round 1. Also,
the team that has already advanced to the final cannot participate in the round 2.
How to Enter Tormented Square: Survival of the Fittest
Tormented Square is held in Battle Core server. First, you must apply and enterthe Battle Core server.

- Tormented Square is held in Battle Core. First you need to apply to enter Battle Core.
Enter Battle Core <A character applied to enter> - Apply for the admission through “NPC Mait” in Loren market.
Form a 2-people team Form a team of Tormented Square>
Apply to enter Tormented Square <NPC Mait – Team leader> - 5 minutes prior to the start, you can apply to enter Tormented Square.
Once you leave the event map, you cannot go back in.
Agree to enter Tormented Square <Team members> - To apply to enter the Tormented Square, you must form a team that consists of 2 people.
All your team members have to be in Loren market in order to apply.
Enter Tormented Square - When the team leader applies to enter the Tormented Square,
each member is asked to decide to enter. When they all accept, the team enters
the Tormented Square. - Play Tormented Square
- Tormented Square: Survival of the Fittest consists of 15 rounds; 2-minute rounds
and 10~20 seconds of breaks. - When a 2-minute round ends, all the remaining monsters disappear and the next round
starts after the break. - The number of monsters remains steadily according to the maximum number of monsters
for each round. - Points earned each round
(The number of monsters killed * hunting point) + (Bonus point * the number of team
members survived)

Apply to enter Tormented Square by clicking. - Real-time Rankings - The 1st-place team of Tormented Square is listed on the first line,
no matter enemy nor friend.
- The top friend team is listed on the second line, and it remains blank when
the 1st-place team is on friend’s side.
- The friend team’s ranking and points are always listed on the third line, no matter
the ranking status.
- The lower friend team is listed on the fourth line, and it remains blank
when the friend team is lowest in ranking.
